Abundant Faith Church of Gwinnett was birthed on January 1, 2019. It is the result of a NEW VISION given by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to Pastor Anthony Johnson. Our vision is to move into areas where we have not moved in before. To be careful to be obedient to The Word of God. To believe without evidence and to remind our members and guest of the power that is in believing in that way. To preach The Word of God that is specific to His will. To preach The Word of God with a practical flavor that will reflect in our daily lives.
We believe our testimony has uniquely set us up to transform lives. We are eager to move, grow, transform, and save souls for Christ.
Anthony Johnson (Pastor and Organizer)
Pastor Johnson is the Senior Pastor/Overseer of Abundant Faith Church. He is married and has two children. They have lived in the Stone Mountain, Georgia community for over 20 years and have attended several churches leading to friendships with several pastors throughout the greater Atlanta and Southeast area.
He has served as an ordained minister since May 15, 2008 and considers his answer to the call of ministry to be the most important and responsible decision he has ever made. He believes in the WORD of our Lord and that the Lord has called him to preach the gospel to those who will listen. His foundational teaching is that Jesus was raised from the dead for our sins and is making intercessions for us continuously.
Originally from Ruleville, MS, Pastor Johnson earned a BS degree in Chemistry from Delta State University, a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University, and an MBA from University of Rochester/LaGrange College.
Pastor Johnson’s commitment to serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in a manner which is reflective of a genuine call from God, began in his youth as he sang in the New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church choir, Ruleville, MS, Black Voices, Mississippi State University, and deepened as he served as the Minister of Music at the Redemptive Life Church in Stone Mountain. His desire is “to ignite in all persons a love for Christ, a passion for righteousness, and a consciousness of their value to God and their fellow human beings”.

Abundant Faith Church is called to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the beliefs of the Christian faith. To actively engage the youth and seasoned saints in the worship of God through teaching, preaching and inspirational worship. To ignite in all persons a LOVE for Christ, a passion for RIGHTOUSNESS, and a lasting UNDERSTANDING of His Word in accordance with Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
We pledge our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate His Spirit through worship, witnessing, and ministry to the needs of the people of this church and the community.
